Fortado

Fortado is the most intense Vertuo coffee in its Gran Lungo size. Its Indian robusta comes at you with full force, and cocoa and oak wood notes emerge from the Colombian arabica. Add a little milk to this Vertuo coffee pod and it’ll keep all its power – but with those great cocoa notes enhanced.

Origin:
We chose a naturally-processed Indian robusta for its high-end quality and unmatched intensity and full body. If you’re tasting those cocoa and oak wood notes, that’s the washed Colombian arabica we blended with the robusta. Vertuo Fortado is the arabica and robusta coffee blend that comes at you with full force.

Roasting:
This Vertuo coffee capsule is split-roasted. It gives you all that robusta intensity without any harshness. A long roast at medium temperatures brings out that intensity in the Indian robusta. We roast the arabica dark and long to develop those rich cocoa and oak wood notes.
